So I created this simple guide I would love to have before my "adventure" with modding SWJKDF2. black screen after adding mods or inability to play modded game directly from Steam. I created this this guide because just like many other people I've had issues with game eg. Call it whatever.This guide shows the simplest possible way to get the Remastered/HD version of game (hardware acceleration, compatibility fixes, high resolution support, new textures, nicer models, FOV configurability etc.) on Win 7/8/10/11 machines. Upon downloading whichever version you choose, do the following:ġ.) Open the Mysteries of the Sith folder and right click on JKM.EXE and select "Properties"ġ.) Right click JKM.EXE and select "Create Shortcut". This game is also VERY buggy on new operating systems like Windows 8. It should boot up in windowed mode, but upon entering a level of any stage, it should go back to fullscreen.
You should automatically be in the Shortcut tab at this point.ģ.) Under the text field "Target:" You should see something similar:Īt the end of this text field, add the following (minus the brackets):Ĥ.) Press Apply and OK. Call it whatever.Ģ.)
